Red/Green Christmas Cheese Ball |

This a savory cheese ball recipe that
looks like a holiday treat. |

| ingredients: |
3/4 Cup pine nuts or walnuts
2 Cups shredded asiago cheese
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1 T. grated parmesan cheese
4 oz. cream cheese softened and cut into chunks
2 T. prepared pesto
2 T. half and half or whole milk
1/4 Cup marinated sun-dried tomatoes, diced and drained well |

Toast pine nuts on a baking sheet for
about 5 minutes at 375 degrees. Set aside. Process cheese in food processor
until combined and smooth.
Add pesto, if mixture is too stiff add
milk.
Stir in tomatoes.
Chill one hour.
Shape into ball and roll into pine nuts
or walnuts. garnish with fresh basil.
Serve with your choice crackers |
