Cut Out Sugar Cookies with Easy Dipping Icing by Kathy LaLonde
This recipe is the only one I will use. It's the easiest dough to work with and hardly needs any refrigerating before rolling out. The icing was my idea and makes the job much faster. (This is an example recipe and so it has pictures. Feel free to send me pictures of your recipes!)

Basic Mushroom Risotto by Carolyn Killey
There are so many recipes out there. This is a family recipe. It is not as difficult as you might think. It is soooo delicious. Be sure you use the imported cheese for this. It does make a difference and you will use less to get a great burst of flavor. Buy it by the chunk and grate only what is needed. You can add any vegetable to this dish to change the flavor--asparagus, peas, etc, but steam the vegetables separately and add them toward the end so they don't overcook 10/23/07
