The downtown merchants are holding the 2nd "Learn To Do Downtown" event. I am doing a demonstration on the photo transfer kits available for purchase at Little House. You can come see how easy it is to create a one-of-a-kind decorative tile, coaster or glass ornament using photos or artwork to make a special keepsake.
The demo will be on Friday, March 10 at 1:00 and 3:00 and Saturday, March 11 at 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00. You must pre-register at the store or by phone. Please call (989)893-6771 to register or to ask any questions.

Change for Charity
Last year was the first year for the "Change for Charity" jars at the checkout counter. I want to thank you for you generosity. We were able to collect over $600.00 for the Bay Area Women's Center. The jars will be out again this year and the proceeds will go to Created for Caring in Bay City. I will match the first $100 again this year.

Also, this year during the Holiday Season I decided that I wanted to give to a charity. I have a jar at the counter to collect change for the Bay Area Women's Center. It's a domestic violence shelter for women. Last year in the newspaper they printed different charity wish lists and they didn't received any donations, so I wanted to do something for them. I am matching the first $100.00 donated. Please drop your change in the jar when you are at the store. Thanks, Kathy |
Extended Holiday Hours:
Beginning November 5th, 2004 we will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Fridays
and 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays until December 18, 2004
Downtown Bay City Men's Night:
On Wednesday, December 15th, 2004 we will be open until 8:00 p.m.for the men to come shopping. Women, be sure to register in the Wish List book at the counter and then tell your husbands to check it out. We'll even gift-wrap the gifts for them. (Women are welcome on Men's Night, too.)
